DISTANCE LEARNING SERVICES
The Covid-19 pandemic has thrust us all into uncharted territory and turned the education system upside down. Parents have become the primary educator and the teacher a facilitator that kids see about once a week for about an hour. We have to wonder how much learning is really happening.
We believe that there is no better teacher for children than their parent/guardian but we all have our limits and time constraints. For those times when you are unable to assist with the daily lesson, ILC is here to help.
We can provide a safe learning environment, fast internet, assistance getting connected, tutoring, science lab for projects, art & craft area, virtual reality experiences, video editing and many more academic enrichment activities. We also have a limited number of computers available for use.

Academic Support Beyond the Classroom
SERVICES STARTING AUGUST 17, 2020
Class Time (8:30 am - 3:00 pm) $170/wk & $640/mo All Grades
Kids can log into their classes, complete homework assignments & projects. After completing class and assignments, kids can participate in STEAM activities like coding, science, film making, art, engineering, virtual reality and of course Minecraft.
Class Time Drop-In (8:30 am - 3:00 pm) $55/per visit
(Space is very limited )
After School STEAM (3:00 pm to 6 pm) $100/wk & $375/mo
Students can enjoy a safe and fun learning environment. Science, engineering, virtual reality, art, Minecraft and other activities available. Kids registered for Class Time weekly or monthly may add After School STEAM for an additional $50/week.
After School STEAM Drop-In (3:00 pm to 6 pm) $30/visit

One on One Tutoring $35/hr
Additional Resources for Students
Long after the last teacher signs off, Immersive Learning Center is helping students excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. ILC provides students with additional resources they need to become self-driven, self-motivated and a life-long learner.
Students in need of tutoring as well as those who wish to explore science, technology or engineering will find Immersive Learning Center a place to make new discoveries.
STEAM SUPPORT
As a educational non profit organization, ILC supports youth in the VCUSD, private schools, charter schools and home school. This also includes working with at risk youth who need academic and social support.
With a STEAM focus, we combine project-based learning, social skills and self-discipline in order to unlock the potential for the best case scenario for all all stakeholders.
AERIAL ROBOTS aka DRONES
Yes, they are actually flying robots. Join the Top Flight Drone Club. It is a great opportunity to learn about drones, build and fly them. As a part of our S.T.E.A.M. program, drones are elevating skills and knowledge that can lead to a rewarding career. Drones are changing our world for the better in a variety of ways. Here are a few ways which drones are changing our lives:
1. Delivery of medicine, mail and goods
2. Journalism and photography
3.Monitoring the health of farms
4. Assisting First Responders
5. Performing safety inspections
6. Helping insurance adjusters
7. Hurricane and Tornado forecasting
8. Wildlife Conservation. Yes, drones are even monitoring the health of humpback whales by capturing breath samples from their blowholes.
They are also fun to fly. With some practice, we will be able to enter competitions to compete in categories such as FPV (first person view) races, stunts, aerial photography, search & rescue, delivery skills test and more.
