We are open for summer 2022!

Art Tech is a weekly summer program with six themed weeks. It will run Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm and take place at 250 Georgia Street, Vallejo, CA. The program will provide youth an opportunity to explore nature and creativity in an amazing new way. Using virtual reality, a 21st century technology, youth participants can transport themselves to some of the most beautiful natural environments on earth, learn painting skills and practice artmaking & self-expression.

This unique opportunity is made possible by the The Hewlett Foundation, Center for Cultural Innovation and 3Palms Group. In an effort to create a more equitable society, they put together several art grants to benefit Black, Indigenous and People of Color who are part of the Vallejo Art Community and rooted here in Vallejo.

Tonya Moore, local resident and member of the Aboriginal Black community as well as the Vallejo Art Community is one of the recipients of the Youth Art Grant and Cultural Art Space Grant. All grant funds were made available by The Hewlett Foundation, who graciously brought $500,000 to the City of Vallejo and funded nearly 60 people who help underserved communities.

Ms. Moore will be hosting the Youth Art Program at The Immersive learning Center in downtown Vallejo. She would like make sure those who are socio-economically disadvantaged have an opportunity to experience this unique program by providing scholarships to those Vallejo youth who meet the requirements for the free or reduced lunch program.

We here at Immersive Learning Center, would like to extend a BIG THANKS to all those who helped to make this wonderful opportunity available to the Vallejo community.
